Agreed, John. I fear two things: wild spending without good thinking, and carpetbaggers: vendors who will swoop down and promote junk, just because there's money to be made.
Agreed! We really need to understand what the billions can and cannot be used for. All I understand at the moment is that practices will get $ in the form of increased Medicare$ if they comply.

The title of this is a weird misnomer, isn't it? It's hardly EMRs versus healthcare - sounds like they're enemies! :) Should be EMRs vs other Health IT, I think.
